At the end of September, our annual get-together took place just a few days before the Chemietage 2024 of the Austrian Chemical Society. This time, the regional representatives from the 5 locations and the national representatives gathered in Graz to get to know each other better and review the past year.
In several workshop sessions, the regional representatives reported on their activities, positive experiences, suggestions for improvement and other tips. We also reflected on the current structures of Austrian Young Chemists Network and how we want to work together across locations in the future and strengthen our network.
On Sunday, September 22, we finally opened the Chemietage 2024 with a workshop on Scientific Publishing with Dr. Alison Green and the Welcome Evening at the Glöckl-Bräu.
