On June 5^th 2018, the Young Chemists Salzburg invited students of the department "Chemistry and Physics of Materials" to a get-together of the Young Chemists Salzburg. The regional representation Salzburg was founded at the beginning of 2018. For the upcoming winter term, lectures and discussions should inspire students to gain more knowledge and experience in the field of chemistry. During the months April and May students met the Young Chemists in Salzburg for the first time and got some bags with gifts as present. The introductory round was well received by students and professors. The highlight of the event was the production of homemade ice cream with liquid nitrogen.
