Regional representatives Innsbruck

Our team in Innsbruck consists of chemistry students, spread over Bachelor, Master and PhD. With everyone contributing his or her very own valuable talents we were able to realise a number of projects so far:

  • Various lectures in the series Chemistry a_side and Chemistry and Business
  • Visits of regional production sites of possible future employers
  • Workshops on important hard and soft skills
  • Exciting presentations on the variety of chemistry for high school students
  • Networking events like barbecues, mulled-wine stalls and Jungchemiker regulars' tables

One of our two Mayn objectives is to provide students with insights into the plurality of possible career paths for chemists in the industry and thus make it easier to enter the job market after graduation. Additionally we seek to increase a positive and appreciative image of chemistry in society.

At future events we are looking forward to welcoming numerous attendees and to cooperate with valuable industrial partners.
