The first Jungchemiker Science Slam took place on November 21st 2018 in the Bogentheater. Five slammer competed against each other to present their lyrical masterpieces.
The topics were very diverse: they ranged from the world of statistics, to the research field of brown and white fat, to the Maillard reaction.
In addition, we were enchanted by melodious rhymes about the love for chemistry and it be-came clear why Pluto is no longer a planet.
After Julian, Sarah, and Trixi survived the preliminary round successfully, they were put to the test in the final round. They got to draw texts, which they had to recite after a very short preparation time. Sarah mastered this task very confidently and won not only the recognition of the audience, but also a bottle of stone pine schnapps.
