On 16.03.2022, Dr. Thomas Pümpel held a lecture on the topic "Nitrification and Co: microbial processes in the modern wastewater treatment plant". Thereby we learned a lot about the different biochemical metabolic processes of microorganisms, which are used in the modern wastewater treatment plant for the purification of the wastewater. It was an excellent lecture with many insights into Mr. Pümpels' field of work. We are also looking forward to another exciting lecture from him.
Presentation on the topic of microplastics, followed by an exchange between the participants, the speaker and the Young Chemists.
