The transition from university to industry is a challenge for many chemistry students. The Young Chemistry Innsbruck as well as the JCF Munich therefore strive to provide chemistry students with skills in cooperation with partner companies or other institutions in addition to the university curriculum. Through a possible cooperation of the young chemists" organizations with two to three companies or institutions, the ChemSkillDays are planned to take place in Innsbruck in October 2023. In the course of this event, chemistry students will be given business-related skills and insights into promising areas of the chemical industry through workshops. During the supporting program, the participants will be given the opportunity to network with the companies or institutions, which will also give the companies direct contact with potential future employees across national borders. The Junge Chemie and the JCF Munich would also like to use this joint event to promote exchange between the two organizations and strengthen international cooperation.
