Have you ever wondered what radiochemists and nuclear physicists do in their daily research or what their workplace looks like? If so, Professor Georg Steinhauser can answer these and other questions on the guided tour through the Institute of Atomic and Subatomic Physics. Georg Steinhauser is a professor of applied radiochemistry at TU Vienna and is a member of the Radiation Protection Advisory Board of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Health. Interested? For the safety of the participants, the following criteria must be observed: pregnant persons are prohibited from entering radiation areas, and shoes with high heels cannot be worn during the tour because they may damage the hand-foot contamination monitors.

The tour starts at 1 pm so we ask you to be present at 12.50 pm already.

The number of participants is limited to 20 persons. As always, the "first come, first serve" principle applies, with preference given to GÖCH members. This excursion is free of charge for GÖCH members and 5€ for non-members. Registration is binding. After the registration deadline on 24.06.2024, you will receive further information by e-mail. We are looking forward to your participation.
