On Dezember 5th 2018 the Jungchemiker Innsbruck invited to the lecture "From Chemistry Studies to Management". The lecturer Dr. Pinar Kilickiran, being an entrepreneur herself, shared her experience on starting a business. She emphasized greatly on the responsibility that comes with the formation of a company and talked about the importance of being able to work independently as well as in groups, since a synergistically collaborating team is the key to entrepreneurial success. However, as this task demands expertise in a plethora of different areas, one should not shy away from external professional consulting and supervision. According to Kilickiran this greatly enhances the chances of a startup to establish itself on the market. After the lecture the subsequent buffet provided an opportunity for further questions in a more relaxed atmosphere.
