On May 26th, the Young Chemists Graz invited Dr Slatner from acib GmbH to give the lecture "biotechnology in everyday-life". First, he explained the basics of biotechnology, then he presented applications of biotechnology at home (in the kitchen and cellar), in waste management and for fire fighting equipment. All in all it was a very interesting and informative evening.
