On May 16th 2022 the talk "Science and Madness" was held in a hybrid-format live in a lecture hall in the TU-Wien and via LectureTube livestream. Professor Rolf Breinbauer, professor for organic chemistry at the TU-Graz, was the speaker for this event. During his about 80 minute presentation he suggested the thesis that genius and madness are two sides of the same coin and backed it up with numerous examples from the scientific, art and cultural communities. After that the attendants could discuss questions with Professor Breinbauer. After the event guests that attended the talk live could grab food and drinks from the buffet. The regional representatives Vienna would like to extend their thanks to Professor Breinbauer for his interesting presentation!
